The “Client Trap”: Why I Never Use Real English in Mockups

There is a golden rule in web design: Never show a client a wireframe with real text.

I learned this the hard way. Years ago, I presented a homepage design to a client. I had written some temporary English copy in the hero section. Instead of looking at the layout, the client leaned in and said, “Actually, we wouldn’t use the word ‘Premium’ here, we prefer ‘Exclusive’.”
