Whether you are planning an event, tracking a project deadline, or are simply curious about the number of days until your next birthday, you often need to calculate the time between two dates. While you can certainly count the days on a calendar, this can be slow and complicated, especially over long periods.

For that reason, our free online date calculator is the perfect tool for the job. We designed this utility to handle all the complex calculations for you, including accounting for leap years. As a result, you can find the exact duration between any two dates or add and subtract time with complete accuracy and ease.

How to Use the Date Calculator

  1. Choose Your Calculation: First, select whether you want to “Find Duration” between two dates or “Add/Subtract” time from a single date.

  2. Enter the Dates: Next, use the date pickers to select your start and end dates. When adding or subtracting, you will instead enter the years, months, weeks, or days you want to calculate.

  3. Get Your Result: The tool will then display the result instantly. For instance, it will display the total number of days between your chosen dates, or it will provide the exact future date based on your calculation.
