Assumptions
- The month grid is generated from the selected year, month, and week-start option.
- Event titles are simple labels attached to selected dates and are not recurring calendar events.
- Print output depends on browser print settings, paper size, margins, and background-color options.
Sources
- EasyUtilityHub calendar generator endpoint
- PHP DateTime month and weekday calculations
Planning calendar only; it does not sync reminders, accounts, or external calendar services.
Calendar Generator Guide
What the Calendar Generator does
The Calendar Generator creates a monthly calendar from the year, month, week-start preference, theme color, and optional event list you enter. It is meant for printing, quick planning, and checking weekday or weekend placement without opening a full calendar account.
The tool builds the month grid server-side with PHP date handling, then the page scripts help with event entry, theme preview, print, and download actions.
Example calendar setup
For June 2026 with Sunday as the week start, the first row starts with Monday, June 1 in the Monday column and leaves the Sunday cell empty. If you add an event on 2026-06-15, that event appears inside the June 15 calendar cell and is counted in the result summary.
Edge cases and limitations
- Years are validated within the supported calendar range, and months must be January through December.
- Events are simple labels attached to dates in the selected month; recurring events, reminders, alarms, and calendar syncing are not included.
- Print layout can vary slightly by browser print settings, page size, margins, and whether background colors are enabled.
Privacy and processing
Calendar inputs are submitted to the protected WordPress endpoint to create the month grid. Event titles are used for the generated result only and are not turned into a calendar account or shared calendar feed by the plugin.
Troubleshooting
- If events do not appear, confirm the event date is inside the selected month and year.
- If print looks different from the screen, choose the correct paper size and enable background graphics in the browser print dialog when needed.
- If week alignment looks unexpected, switch the week-start control between Sunday and Monday and regenerate the calendar.
